We Are In-Network with:

What are my payment options?

We accept most Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth & Humana plans. Fully licensed therapists also accept United/Optum.

If you have one of these insurances, we will provide you with information to help you verify mental health coverage with us and obtain information about your deductible, coinsurance and/or copay.

Given the various health plans available, deductibles, coinsurances and copays vary greatly among clients. Authorization from your insurance must be obtained prior to treatment and we will assist you with this process. Please select your insurance coverage on the drop down menu of our contact form.

Self-pay or Out-Of-Network:

Although we are contracted with the insurances above, our services may be partially covered by other insurance plans. Please contact your insurance carrier and check the possibility of being reimbursed for out of network behavioral health services. Our service fee must be paid in full ($130-$150) at the time of service and we will provide you with a weekly superbill, but you will be required to file the claim information necessary to receive reimbursement through your insurance. Please select “Self-Pay or OON” on the drop down menu of our contact form.

Lower-fee:

We have an amazing team of clinicians-in-training who are able to provide quality, professionally supervised therapy on a scale of $10-80 a session. Anyone is welcome to be treated by our clinicians-in-training, including those with insurance, although we can only bill BCBS PPO and Community for our interns (all other insurances would be out of network). Please select “Low Fee” on our drop down menu to be connected with this option.

No Insurance & Medicaid:

If you do not have health insurance or have Medicaid, you may be eligible for lower-cost self-pay therapy based on your self reported current household income, number of dependents, and ability to pay. Our interns currently accept BCBS Community, which is a Medicaid plan. Fee per session with our licensed clinicians ranges from $80 to $120, and is available on a rotating basis to those with less than $3500 a month in a single income home or less than $6500 a month from 2 incomes. Please select “Sliding Scale” on our dropdown menu if you would like more information on our sliding scale options.

Here at Grace Therapy and Wellness Center, it is important to us to make therapy accessible to anyone that wants it. We don’t think therapy should be a luxury only the rich can afford, or a last resort when all else fails. This is why we make the effort to be credentialed with as many insurance companies as possible, offer virtual therapy, and are licensed in IL, WI, and FL.

We want you to worry only about your reasons for coming to therapy and your relationship with your chosen therapist, so once you start services with us, we take care of insurance submissions and billing. Your insurance company sets your fees, pays us, and tells us what to charge you for services. Our billing company (billing@gracecft.com) is happy to answer any questions you may have about the insurance and billing processes, and will provide you with an insurance benefits check. We utilize trauma-informed billing practices, notifying clients if they owe more than $150 before charging your card.

We also encourage you to check with your employer, if you have one, about potential Employee Assistance Benefits (EAP) available to you that could provide a number of free therapy sessions.
