I am a Therapy Intern at a clinical mental health center and a Masters of Social Work candidate at Aurora University. I provide therapeutic services grounded in evidence-based and scientifically supported practices, with the goal of helping clients achieve meaningful and sustainable mental health outcomes. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and cultural competence, and I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel heard, respected, and valued. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to healing and work collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and strengths.

My lived experience as an African American , LGBTQ+, two time cancer survivor affords me multiple points of intersectionality, which I view as a privilege that enhances my ability to understand and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I am deeply committed to honoring each client’s unique identity, experiences, and social context. I approach my work with humility, curiosity, and a strong ethical foundation. My clinical interests include supporting individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, trauma, and emotional regulation. Above all, I am passionate about empowering clients to build resilience, foster self-understanding, and move toward greater well-being.
