Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

My name is LaVette Goodman Graham and I’m a dedicated, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a deeply compassionate approach to psychiatric care. With almost a decade of experience across inpatient, outpatient, and academic settings, I’m committed to meeting individuals where they are—providing thoughtful medication management, trauma-informed support, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each person’s unique journey.

I strive to create safe, trusting spaces that empower clients and foster healing. Recognized for my leadership, cultural competence, and commitment to clinical excellence, I also mentor future nurses as an adjunct instructor, sharing my passion for empathetic, evidence-based practice.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new places through travel, and staying active with regular workouts—nurturing both mind and body with the same care I offer my patients.
