“You will never know how far you can go by staying where you are.”
Are you invested in your own self-growth? Are you experiencing grief, life changes, or trying to process your trauma, but not sure how to move through it on your own anymore? I specialize in working with teens and young adults to address attachment issues and develop a strong sense of self.
In therapy with me, I serve as your mirror, reflecting back what you are learning in your life in an honest, real way that helps you gain self-awareness. I bring a nonjudgmental, empathic presence to therapy, creating space for you to slow down and reflect honestly. My hope is to support you in gaining a deeper self-confidence, learning to recognize what is no longer serving you, and moving toward the change you’re seeking; all in your own way and at your own pace.
I’m passionate about working with clients who are struggling to connect with themselves or others, with substance use issues, anxiety, PTSD, infidelity, and more. I work from a psychodynamic lens while remaining trauma-informed and deeply relational. I utilize an Internal Family Systems approach to address childhood wounds. I believe therapy is most powerful when it’s collaborative, and I’ll work with you to tailor the process to your unique needs and goals.
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School and attend clinical supervision with Samantha Arroyo, LCPC. I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds into this work, and have specific experience working with BIPOC men in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Reaching out for help can be the hardest part, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you begin your therapy journey.
