“I don’t believe in “laziness,” only in the unmet needs and untoldstories of each person.”
As a therapist, it’s an honor to collaborate with adults, couples, and teens as they work toward
their goals. It takes a lot of courage to show up in therapy, and I don’t take that lightly. My
therapeutic approach is eclectic and systemic. I firmly believe that while people may not be inherently harmed in
isolation, they are not healed in isolation either.
I bring a deep commitment to holding space for those navigating perfectionism, shame,
executive functioning struggles, and trauma. I especially enjoy supporting teenagers, young
adults, and adults as they move through neurodivergence, identity, relationships, and the
messy, confusing work of simply existing. I work best with clients who want a therapist who
understands the nuance and complexity of their lived experience, particularly those who are
BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or neurodivergent.
In our work together, you can expect a collaborative, empowering environment where we can
make space for your full humanity. I don’t believe in "laziness," only in the unmet needs and untold
stories of each person. Whether you’re coping with burnout, trauma, or you are just trying to make sense of it all, I’m
here to support you.
Outside of the therapy room, I find grounding through movement (dance, capoeira, pilates),
laughter, and learning just for the joy of it. As a neurodivergent Black woman, my lived
experience deeply informs my work. I bring this perspective into therapy with care, curiosity, and
a belief that growth doesn’t have to come at the cost of self-compassion.
I believe fit is crucial to developing a sound therapeutic relationship and accomplishing treatment
goals. If you think we might be a good fit to work together, I encourage you to reach out to
schedule a consultation.
I attend supervision with Gabriela Flores, LCSW.
