As President of Grace Therapy and Wellness Center, I lead our practice with a deep commitment to aligning our operations, culture, and care with our core values of abundance, integrity, and holistic wellness. In service of this mission, I have reduced my client and supervisory capacity to focus on administrative oversight, ensuring that every aspect of GTWC reflects our dedication to equity, clarity, and compassionate impact.

It remains my pleasure to work with clients in a collaborative effort to achieve their goals. In sessions, we resolve challenges, build regulatory skills, and identify real-world solutions to support mental health. I utilize an eclectic, person-centered, strengths-based, and evidence-based approach to create a customized, effective experience. I believe in cultivating strong rapport to establish a safe space where clients feel empowered to share the most intimate aspects of their journey.

I specialize in supporting adult clients as they process complex traumas (including sexual trauma, childhood abuse, domestic violence, religious trauma, adoption-related experiences, and racial trauma) using modalities such as Mindfulness-based CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Somatic therapies. I am also passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate emotional and physical intimacy, sexual dysfunction, life transitions, and relationship conflict. My professional mission centers on empowering women of color, women in high-stress careers, and BIPOC couples to increase fulfillment and connection in their lives.

I am a Black/Multicultural woman, wife, and mother, proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community and Sex/Kink Positive. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2013. My knowledgebase includes certifications and trainings in CBT, DBT, EFT, IFS, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Anger Management, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Yoga Therapy, the ARC Framework, Complex Trauma Processing, Gottman Method, and Sex Therapy.

I also provide clinical supervision and therapy for mental health professionals experiencing secondary trauma, burnout, and anxiety—supporting them in symptom reduction, emotional regulation, and sustainable self-care. With over a decade of clinical and supervisory experience, I offer a trauma-informed, psychodynamically guided supervision style that explores transference, countertransference, and empathic responses. My relational approach fosters trust, professional growth, and confidence in navigating complex clinical dynamics.

My greatest passion is empowering others to evolve into the self they wish to become. Whether through therapy, mentorship, or leadership, I invite you to cultivate a positive, supportive, and transformative relationship with the care that guides your journey.
